Updated as of August 13, 2021: UPCET 2021: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has enunciated the exam schedule for UPCET 2021 examination today on August 12 through the official website- upcet.nta.nic.in.
However, the last year, Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Lucknow had decided to allow UPSEE score for admission to Engineering and other professional courses. But, previous year, the university had also declared that it will use JEE Main score for admission to first year BTech, B.Arch and MTech (integrated) programs.
While Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main will be used for admission to undergraduate Engineering programs whereas candidates will accepted for admission to other professional programs at UG and PG level, and for lateral entry to BTech programs on the basis of UPCET score.
UPCET Exam 2021 Important Dates
The administrative body of the UPCET 2021, the National Testing Agency has scheduled the date of examination which will be held on September 5 and 6. The entrance test will take place on September 5 in two shifts – 8 am to 10 am and 4 pm to 6 pm. while, on September 6, the exam will be conducted in three shifts – 8 am to 10 am, 12 noon to 2 pm, 4 pm to 7 pm.
UPCET Admit Card 2021
The admit cards for the exams will be out on the official website soon. Candidates who will qualify for UPCET 2021 will be called for counselling and seat allocation.
According to the notification of the NTA, candidates who could not appear in CMAT 2021, the score of the Uttar Pradesh Common Entrance Test 2021 will be granted to candidates for admission to the MBA programme of AKTU.
