The Gratitude Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national level entrance exam that is held every year jointly by IISC Bangalore & other seven IIT’s. It will be conducted by IIT Kanpur in the year of 2023. Admission will be offered to candidates into master’s & doctoral programs in the field of Engineering, Technology, Architecture etc. on the basis of merit of the GATE exam, candidates will be provided admission into PG degree courses such as M.Tech/ M.E & Ph.D courses. Qualification in GATE is also mandatory for candidate’s seeking admission in the various institutions.

GATE 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IIT-K) has opened the online application window today on November 08, 2022 with purpose to rectify in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023 application form that will remain open till November 14, 2022. Candidates who applied for GATE 2023 earlier can modify/rectify their form by logging in at the official website– gate.iitk.ac.in
For correction in application, candidates will have pushed on the modification link to logging by using their registered email id and password along with the security pin. Candidates can modify in application form from November 8 till November 14, 2022.
GATE 2023: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur today on December 14 has published mock tests links for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. The Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur has activated the subject – wise links for the test. Candidates who are going to take participate for the exam can now check the mock tests based on previous years exams at the official GATE 2023 website — gate.iitk.ac.in.
This year, the GATE 2023 will be held on February 4,5,11 and 12, 2023.

- Login by using your registered credential

According to the official information, GATE 2023 result will be declared on March 16, 2023 while the score card will be available for download from March 21, 2023.
GATE 2023 Application Form: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has extended the registration deadline for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. But the online registration date has been extended only for those candidates who have not registered till now. Now, they can register for GATE 2023 examination with the payment of late fee till October 16, 2022. They will have to pay of Rs 500 at official website as a late fee of the registration for the exam.
Application Fee: General category candidates including foreign nationals will have to pay an application fee with late fee of Rs 2,200 per paper, while female candidates including candidates of SC, ST and PwD category will have to pay as application fee with late fee of Rs 1,350.
During the registration, applicants will have to keep ready the following the required documents:

Earlier, candidates had to apply for the entrance test till September 30 but now, applicants can apply their application form at gate.iitk.ac.in without late registration fee till October 4, 2023. GATE 2023 online registration window will remain open till October 4.
Interested and eligible candidates for GATE 2023 can apply for admission to postgraduate curriculums in engineering or science. GATE 2023 will take place in four phases I. e. on February 4, 5, 11 and 12.
Exam Pattern
Each paper for GATE 2023 contains for total of 100 marks, General Aptitude (GA) is common for all papers (15 marks) and rest of the paper covers the respective syllabus (85 marks).
