Delhi Nursery Admission 2023: According to the previous notification, the Directorate of Education (DoE) Delhi is going to switch off the registration process for Delhi Nursery admission 2023 in private school today on December 23, 2022.
Hence, interested parents who want to get admission their children in private schools for the academic session 2023-24, are advised to apply online soon at the DoE Delhi’s official website– edudel.nic.in. The Directorate of Education (DoE) Delhi will holding the admission process for pre-school, pre-primary and Class 1 for open seats in private unaided recognised schools of Delhi for the academic session 2023-24.

Private schools are required to reserve at least 25 per cent of seats for students from economically weaker section (EWS), disadvantaged group (DG) and children with disability for admission to the academic session 2023-24.
Delhi Nursery Admissions 2023: According to the official notification, the admission process for the nursery classes in Delhi’s private school has been scheduled to start from December 1, 2022 that will be continued till December 23. Applicants/ parents can submit the application form on the behalf of their children.
This year, the admission process is being to start two weeks before compared than last year.
The first list of the selected children will be declared on January 20, 2023 and the the waiting list of the students will also be released on the same date.
Apart from this, the second list of the selected children will be published on February 6, 2022.
This year, the Delhi government’s Directorate of Education has targeted to conclude this admission process till March 17, 2023.
The admission process is being conducted for entry-level admissions – nursery, KG, or class 1 in Delhi’s private schools. Age limitation of the children for the separately classes like nursery, KG and class 1 has been scheduled respectively. The maximum age limit for admissions is four, five and six years for nursery, KG and class 1 respectively, as of March 31, 2023.
According to the official rules, all schools are required to reserve 22 per cent of their seats in entry level classes for EWS/ DG students and 3 per cent for children with special needs (CWSN).
Note Admissions for these classes will be conducted through a centralised ‘draw of lots’ process by the Directorate of Education (DoE).
