JEXPO, VOCLET 2021: JEXPO known as Joint Entrance Examination for polytechnic is a state level entrance exam which is conducted by the West Bengal State Council of Technical Education (WBSCTE). The test is also known as West Bengal Polytechnic.
Candidates belonging to the West Bengal are compulsory to face this exam if they have aspired to acquire admission into polytechnic.
After completion of the qualifying exam, candidates are provided JEXPO-based admission for the polytechnic into Engineering and Technology course at the Government Polytechnic Institute or private added Polytechnic Colleges in the West Bengal state.
JEXPO and VOCLET 2021 admit cards is likely to announce on June 28, 2021 and WBSCTE will conduct JEXPO and VOCLET exam on July 18 in two shifts .
JEXPO 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Interested candidates who want to get admission for the Diploma course in the state are required to gain some prominent eligibility criteria. Candidates will be not allowed to fulfill the application form if they are unable to complete the eligibility criteria.
Prominent eligibility criteria have been provided below that is mandatory to displayed by candidates at the admission time at the institute:
Candidates must have Indian citizen as well as they should have domicile of the West Bengal with minimum qualification class 10 and having a minimum marks 35% which should be approved by any recognized board of the West Bengal. Candidates belonging to other state are also eligible to apply for the Diploma course.
Apart from this, they are compulsory to pass in the subject of Mathematics, Physical Science, Chemistry and English for the entrance exam.
Candidates who are studious or waiting their result can also apply for the exam.
Age Criteria
Candidates must have at the age of 15 years at the time of filling the registration form .
JEXPO 2021 Application Form
Candidates can acquire JEXPO application form through online mode from the official website and after filling the registration form, they can submit JEXPO application form 2021 from 25th March 2021 form till 14th June 2021 on the official website – jexpo.webscte.co.in from.
Application Fee
The application fee for online mode application will be Rs. 450/-(Rs. 225/- for Kanyashree). Application fee will be paid through online mode via credit card/ debit card or net banking.
Exam Pattern
According to latest information, the JEXPO, VOCLET exam will be conducted by offline mode with a pen and paper-based test at the exam centres across the state. There are only multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). comprises with 100 questions for 100 marks will be asked to candidates.
The question paper will be prescribed in the English and Bengali languages. Candidates will be awarded negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer. The overall duration of the JEXPO, VOCLET examinations are two hours only.
